Hi, I am Zeina Asfour-Grifoni, a physical therapist, Pilates instructor, and movement specialist with over two decades of experience helping clients move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free. After earning my degree in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt College in 2003, I became a certified Pilates instructor under Ellie Herman in 2004 and have since completed extensive continuing education in both Pilates and rehabilitation sciences. I also teach movement at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri, a professional university for performing arts.

My work integrates the science of physical therapy with the art of mindful movement, specializing in rehabilitation, scoliosis, postural training, athletic performance, and conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and hypermobility. My unique approach emphasizes education, body awareness, and individualized care to empower every client toward lasting results.

As the founder of Synergy+ in California and Ascona, I lead a team of professionals dedicated to movement and holistic wellness (check out our about us page). I also direct the Synergy+ Teacher Training and Continuing Education Programs, mentoring instructors and therapists worldwide in evidence-based movement and rehabilitation programs.

Since 2020, I have lived in Locarno, Switzerland, where I opened Synergy+’ satellite studio.
