For Pilates instructors

Train with a physical therapist, not just a certification mill.

This section is for working and aspiring Pilates instructors, not Synergy+ clients. Continuing education, certification, and specialized clinical topics, taught by Zeina Asfour-Grifoni, MPT, NCPT.

Zeina is a licensed physical therapist and Pilates educator with over two decades of clinical and teaching experience. She earned her Physical Therapy degree from Samuel Merritt College in 2003, became a certified Pilates instructor under Ellie Herman in 2004, and has since specialized in rehabilitation, scoliosis, postural training, athletic performance, and conditions like Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and hypermobility. Beyond Synergy+, she teaches movement at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri, a professional university for the performing arts in Verscio, Switzerland. Every course, workshop, and lecture on this page draws on that same blend of clinical science and hands-on teaching experience.
