Pilates Ascona
Our instructors are movement specialists first, trained to see what's really going on in how you move. Some clients come with a fitness goal, some want strength and balance, some are working around an old injury. A private assessment with Zeina is always available, but most clients start right in a group class.

Classes are taught mainly in Italian. Zeina speaks English, and several of our instructors get by in German, and Sabina speaks it well. Groups are small, so an instructor can stay with anyone who needs a hand following along. Tell us what you speak and we’ll tell you which classes suit you best. Write to us →

Straight into Pilates
One-on-one and duet sessions on the reformer and springboard, with an instructor who programs around you. When you get in touch we'll ask whether there's an injury or anything else we should know, so your instructor knows what to work on and what to leave alone. There's no assessment to sit through or pay for before you start.
Private and semi-private Pilates lessons are always paid out of pocket. Only our Qualicert-certified group classes carry insurance recognition.

Rehabilitation
Working with pain, an injury, or a diagnosis
If you're in pain, recovering from surgery, or managing something like scoliosis, hypermobility, or a balance problem, we'll suggest starting with Zeina, a physical therapist and movement specialist. She takes your history, works out what's actually driving the problem, and treats it with hands-on work, Pilates-based exercise, or both. From there she recommends where to go next: more rehabilitation sessions, private lessons, or group classes.

Zeina is recognized as a provider by nearly all the major Swiss complementary insurers, so these sessions can often be reimbursed, and we'll give you the paperwork to submit. Check what your own policy covers before your first visit.
