In this video we will analyze and correct a client’s posture on the Cadillac while the body is in motion. Specifically we will look at the posture resulting from moving the arms and shoulders while doing an exercise that I like to call “my getting taller” exercise. Why do I call it this way? Because this particular exercise helps us to stand taller assuming the posture that we should all be in in standing position. When you give prompts for this exercise you want to examine the posture of whole person, from her feet position to her neck and head position. The feet should be planted on the ground, the knees slightly bent, and the head and neck extended up with the chin slightly tucked in. What is something that we do not like to see in somebody’s posture while standing? Check out this video to learn more about what to look for and how to prompt for better posture.
